Memorial resin horse ornament made with mane or tail hair

This gorgeous little resin horse is made with your horses mane or tail hair inside. A beautiful keepsake not only for horses that have passed away but also horses in the present.

Size dimensions:

To ensure the hair is visible I use clear resin and have a few colours of metal leaf to choose from that can be added in or some gorgeous rainbow flakes that give a tint of colour without taking the focus from the hair away. Please be aware that some white horse hair may appear translucent when put in resin, but until its done I can't predict the outcome. I can add a coloured bottom to these pieces, it could be similar to your horses colour. your favourite colour, a glittery colour etc. I have various colourants available including transparent, metallic, opaque, mica, glitter etc. A name can also be added on the underside of the piece.

For this piece 15cm of horse hair is ideal, about a pencil widths worth, but can work with more or less. Any unused hair will always be returned. If your hair is plaited it will take a few more days to disperse the kinks before I can use it.

Please remember these items are made by hand and therefore may have minor flaws such as air bubbles or slight surface imperfections.

TIME FRAME I generally work on 6-8 weeks turnaround from receiving your hair so please always send it as soon as possible to avoid any delays as orders are made in the order of the hair being received not when the order was placed. At busier times this may extend to 12 weeks, once I am on 12 weeks turnaround I limit the amount of orders I take each month to avoid any backlogs. I like my pieces to cure for a full 30 days to ensure maximum durability. The brand I use recommends 21 days but I would rather be over cautious.

RESIN CARE 
*Please clean with a soft damp cloth only. PLEASE DO NOT: immerse in water, put in a dishwasher/microwave or use any harsh chemicals or abrasive pads for cleaning.
*Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or direct heat sources will cause colours to fade or yellow and may make the items become pliable so are best avoided. Heat from mugs is fine for coasters.
*Please only use LED tealights for candle holders.
*All my resin items are handmade so there may be minor floors such as micro bubbles/slight surface imperfections.
